MCA ASPIRANT · KITISURU WARD

Hon. Shawn
Francis Wambua

A son of Kitisuru. A servant of its people. A leader for what comes next.

THE STORY

Rooted in community, driven by service

Shawn Francis Wambua was raised in Kitisuru, among the estates, markets and stages that shaped his understanding of everyday life. He learned early that leadership is not about titles — it is about showing up, listening, and doing the work.

Over the years he has built Team Shawn into a genuine grassroots movement: mentoring young people, empowering women's groups, organising clean-ups and standing with families through their hardest seasons. As convener of Better Must Come, he now carries that same movement into a structured, evidence-based plan for the ward — his campaign for MCA is the natural next step in a life already spent in service.

“Leadership is not a position you hold. It's the work you do for people who trusted you with it.”
